Access and complaints
If you are a citizen and want to know what data is being processed about you, you should contact the data controller company you are a customer of (for example, your telecom provider, your membership organization, or your insurance company) or the public authority you are registered with (for example, the BBR register, the CPR register, the CVR register, etc.).
If you are an applicant or employed by a company that is a customer or otherwise has a business relationship with Ambition, you have the right to access what personal data we process about you. If you want access to — or have changes to — the personal data registered about you with Ambition, you should contact persondata@ambition.dk or call 6915 8000.

Special section for telecom subscribers
The source of telecom data is more than 100 telecom companies, which, according to § 31 of the Telecommunications Act, are required to make this data available to those who request it. Eniro collects and processes telecom data on its behalf and resells data to other data distributors, including Ambition. Regarding the storage of this data, the telecom company, Eniro, and Ambition are data controllers. The end customers who purchase telecom data are also data controllers.
We process the following information:
- Name, address, and phone number
- Job title
- Subscription category (typically "landline" or "mobile")
The data is disclosed to customers and customers of affiliated companies for analysis, marketing, and updating purposes. The purpose of the processing is to enable our customers to carry out targeted marketing through direct contact with individuals by mail or phone, and to assist our customers in maintaining and enriching customer databases with correct phone numbers.
Ambition does not receive telecom data for subscribers who are blocked from disclosure at the telecom company, and secret phone numbers, names, and addresses are not received. We generally do not disclose telecom data for marketing purposes if the subscriber is listed on the Robinson list of the CPR register. However, humanitarian and charitable organizations are not subject to the Marketing Act and are therefore not required to exclude citizens on the Robinson list.
Since Ambition is merely a data distributor of publicly available telecom data, we recommend that all inquiries regarding the correction and deletion of personal data be directed to the source, which is the telecom company where the subscription is registered. Otherwise, it requires contacting both Eniro and a large number of additional data distributors and end-users, all of whom are data controllers for their processing of the personal data contained in telecom data.
Special section for CVR-registered companies
In Denmark, there is free access to data on companies registered in the CVR register (the Central Business Register). Ambition is a data distributor of CVR registry data. Regarding the storage and thus processing of personal data that may be contained in Ambition's copy of the CVR register, Ambition is the data controller.
We process the following information:
- CVR and P-number
- Company name (which, for most sole proprietorships, contains a personal name)
- Company address
- Company type
- Company phone number and email
- Industry
- Number of employees
- Start date and, if applicable, termination date
- Name and address of responsible participants (owners, management, and board of directors)
The data is disclosed to our customers and customers of our affiliated companies for analysis, marketing, and updating purposes. The purpose of the processing is to enable our customers to better target their marketing activities and assist our customers in maintaining and enriching customer databases with accurate information.
We never disclose CVR data for marketing when the company is marketing-blocked in the CVR register. We never disclose the name and address of responsible participants for marketing purposes. Similarly, we never disclose information about sole proprietorships for marketing purposes when they are listed on the Robinson list of the CPR register.
Since Ambition is merely a data distributor of a publicly available business database, we recommend that all inquiries regarding the correction and deletion of personal data be directed to the source, which is the CVR register. Otherwise, it requires contacting a large number of additional data distributors and end-users, all of whom are data controllers for their processing of the personal data contained in the CVR register.
