The solution is Circlements, which makes it possible to fence in selected target groups very precisely geographically, thereby avoiding wasted contacts – while also being highly relevant in messages and offers. Regional campaigns do not cover all households, so it is crucial for Hiper that marketing reaches the coverage areas as precisely as possible to prevent households from being disappointed that they cannot access the offer. Here, the use of Circlements has made a real difference.
Better results with precise targeting
Hiper has A/B tested the effect of Circlements on META by comparing the results of a postal code-optimized conversion campaign with a similar campaign optimized using Circlements. The same ad set was used in both campaigns. The test showed that the Circlement campaign delivered a CPA on purchases that was 43.1% lower than the postal code campaign. This is despite the fact that the CTR was 32.9% lower. Circlements has proven to be more effective in identifying the converting customers who were eligible for the Hiper offer.

With the coordinate-based campaign, Hiper has experienced an improvement of CVR from address lookup to purchase by 173%, which once again highlights how much better the coordinates are at finding the right customers.
